Gospel Grit

Jesus was clear: “If anyone wants to follow Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). He didn’t promise ease—He promised we’d be blessed when we suffer for His name (Matthew 5:10–12). That means we can either give up—or trust God to get us through. Because we are never closer to Christ than when we walk the road He walked. And that’s exactly what Paul and Barnabas were doing.
