Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday: The Resurrection Power of Christ, Acts 9:1-22
Easter Sunday celebrates the moment that changed everything.
It’s not about sentiment or spring traditions—it’s about power.
It’s not pastel colors or egg hunts—it’s an empty tomb.
Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus rose from the dead. Not as a symbol.
Not as a story. But as the victorious, risen Son of God. Jesus’
resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith and the source of our
hope; if Jesus is alive, then hope is alive!
If the resurrection is real, it shouldn’t just comfort us—it should
change us. The resurrection gives us real hope, hope that meets us
in our sin, remakes us in grace, and sends us with purpose.
There’s no clearer example than Saul. He hated Jesus. He hunted
the church. Then he met the risen Christ and experienced His
resurrection power. In that moment, everything changed.
Saul became Paul—the gospel’s loudest voice.
