John 8:13-20

Jesus makes his, “I am the light of the world” statement, and the Pharisees completely avoid what he said and attack his authority to say what he said. Their attempt at diverting the conversation away from Jesus’ words actually allow Jesus an opportunity to reiterate his authority and his relationship with God the Father.
